The original Australian Labradoodle

HISTORY OF THE

HISTORY OF THE AUSTRALIAN LABRADOODLE CLUB OF AMERICA

After developing the prototype for the Australian Labradoodle, and achieving modest success with their allergy friendly nature, Tegan Park started sending breeding dogs to the United States.  In 2005 The Australian Labradoodle Club of America (ALCA)  was founded to preserve the Authentic Australian Labradoodle and to move toward purebred status.

The ALCA is a vital presence for the Authentic Australian Labradoodles, helping to maintain quality and support for the many breeders that believe the Authentic Australian Labradoodle is the perfect family pet, with many becoming therapy and service dogs, the breed popularity exploded. The ALCA remains the Premier Club for the Authentic Australian Labradoodle in America.
